    PureCycle Standard ORC Power Generation System

    PureCycle, the new generation of organic Rankine cycle (ORC) power generation system series of TICA, are the mature products introduced from UTC, the US. Adopting organic work medium featuring low boiling point, PureCycle generates higher steam pressure at medium-low temperatures to drive the expansion machine to do work, thus low-grade heat energy will be converted into high-grade one. The system is used to recycle medium-low-temperature (80-300℃) waste heat for power generation, helping toimprove energy utilization efficiency and promote energy saving and emission reduction.

    Modularized Assembly

    Power generation capacity will be increased by parallel connections of multiple units if sufficient heat source is available. There’re many kinds of parallel connections, which helps to save onsite space while using heat effectively. 

    Automatic Grid Connection

    Direct grid connection is feasible as the generators are capable of tracing grid parameters (voltage, frequency, phase) automatically.

    Highly Integrated

    Highly integrated system achieves one-press start and shut-off with the professional control panel.

    High Generation Efficiency

    System efficiency can reach 10%-20% as turbine expansion machine is adopted for power generation, much higher than the screw chillers of Japan.

    Remote Control

    The system allows remote monitoring & control over the units through the Internet or LAN to ensure onsite safety.

    Turbine Technology

    Simple design, the efficiency of isentropic unit is higher than that of screw chiller.

    Integrated Design

    Thanks to the turbine-generator’s integrated design, no work medium leakage occurs; the control system is ensured by multiple protections and failure rate is low.

    Low Water Consumption

    Only a small amount of supplement cooling water is needed compared with steam turbine.

    Remote Monitoring & Control

    Remote connection is set up through the Internet and users therefore are able to visit the power generation system to view current and historical operation parameters.
